FAQs

At Innovate Wellness, your health is our top priority. To provide the most individualized care possible, we have chosen not to bill, accept, or contract with insurance companies. Insurance often imposes restrictions that prioritize standardized, cost-effective treatments over personalized care. By remaining independent of insurance companies and being able to focus on you as an individual, Innovate Wellness can guide you in achieving lasting outcomes.

To be able to provide these services in a manner that is fulfilling to both us and our clients, we cannot be constrained by the limits that insurance companies impose on choices of therapy and the limited time that we would be able to spend with each client. We do accept payment of HSA/FSA funds. Please verify with your insurance company if you can use these funds for our services.

We do offer telehealth.

No, we will not replace your PCP or OB/GYN. Instead, our goal is to fill in the gap and be a resource to you and your current providers. We want to provide you with quality care and provide you with a comprehensive wellness plan to address your individual needs. It is our goal to help you feel your best mentally and physically.

Hormone therapy is a medical treatment that involves supplementing or balancing hormones in the body to address hormonal imbalances or deficiencies. Hormones are chemical messengers produced by glands in the body that regulate various essential functions, including metabolism, mood, growth, reproduction, and energy levels. Hormone therapy can be tailored for different needs, such as:

  • Managing symptoms of menopause or perimenopause
  • Supporting thyroid function
  • Enhancing fertility
  • Treating hormone-related conditions like low testosterone or adrenal insufficiency

Hormone dosing Is individualized for each individual once we review lab work and evaluate symptoms. There are several routes of administration for hormone therapy depending on the type including creams, oral, injections and patches. We do not offer pellet therapy at this time.

You will book an appointment for initial lab work and make your payment online. Once your intake paperwork and labs are completed, we will schedule your visit with the provider for a comprehensive review of findings. This visit lasting approximately 60-90 minutes allows us time to show you how your lab results correlate with your symptoms. You will understand what steps can be implemented to optimize your health. We will review treatment plans including hormone replacement options and cost at this time. Once you choose your initial program, we will partner in your health journey, and you will see the amazing effects individualized treatment plans provide.

Our programs, also known as treatment plans, address all aspects of metabolic health, including but not limited to hormone optimization, hormone replacement therapy and medical assisted weight loss. Each plan is designed to uncover root causes and provide the expert support you need to achieve lasting results.

After completing your initial program, you’ll have a solid foundation for your health journey and a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs. From there, you’ll have the option to continue working with us through one of our maintenance plans, designed to provide ongoing support and guidance as you maintain and build on your progress. You will have continued access through the patient portal for questions, follow-up visits to refine your plan and monitor progress, and additional resources to help you stay on track. Our goal is to ensure you feel supported every step of the way and never feel like you’re navigating your health journey alone.

Conventional medicine lab ranges are based on the statistical average of the population, including people who may be unhealthy, prediabetic or obese, for example. Functional medicine uses a tighter, more optimal range which identifies imbalances before they set in, although you may be having symptoms. Looking at Vitamin D, the normal range is 30-100ng/ml, your level could be 40 and your doctor tells you it’s normal, meanwhile you feel tired a lot of the time. In functional medicine we like the level to be between 60-80ng/ml, this is an optimal range.
